Lauren Bradley is a leading couples therapist, counsellor, sex therapist, sexologist, family therapist, psychosexual educator, clinical supervisor and counsellor with a focus on supporting clients toward positive life expression and experiences. Lauren’s areas of specialisation are; relationship therapy for couples and individuals of all orientations, sex therapy for couples and individuals, trauma recovery, separating partners, co-parenting, collaborative family therapy, sex education and platonic partnerships. Lauren supports survivors of family violence and is MARAM trained. Lauren is a registered clinical supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association.  

Qualifications and registrations: Lauren is a qualified counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and is registered with the Society of Australian Sexologists and the Australian Association of Family Therapy. Lauren holds a Masters degree from the University of Sydney in psychotherapy, and double Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Political Science. Lauren’s approach is warm, open, non-judgemental, sometimes even fun! yet, evidence-based drawing from a range of counselling modalities. 

Counselling frameworks: Gottman couple therapy (Level1&2), polyvagal theory, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion focussed therapy for couples and individuals (EFT), schema therapy, trauma informed practice, mindfulness, internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory and systemic family therapy.

 

Areas of specialisation: Lauren has experience supporting clients through concerns including - resolving communication breakdowns, improving conflict resolution, repairing connection, finding the spark again, libido differences, increasing sexual pleasure, trust after infidelity, erectile dysfunction, performance anxiety, anorgasmia, reproductive health, painful sex or dyspareunia, vaginismus, sexual orientation, gender identity, navigating relationships, separation support or divorce counselling, co-parenting, blended families, parenting, porn-addiction, kink, sexual difficulties or pain and intimacy coaching. Lauren supports clients to feel safe and satisfied again within their most important relationships, to re-gain respect and love.

Therapeutic approach: Lauren empowers clients from broad range of backgrounds, no matter who you are, you fit here. Lauren supports clients to gain practical skills that can be used outside the therapy space -  she believes counselling is more than just talk therapy, but also a space for you to up-skill in your relationships for long-term change. Lauren believes that everyone deserves the right to choose safe and pleasurable sexual experiences and is passionate about supporting her clients to achieve their goals. Lauren is an advocate for positive healthy relationships that nourish your wellbeing.

When Lauren’s not spending her time with clients, she regularly rocks out to live music, bakes 'healthy' cakes, hunts opp shops for vintage, and gets out into the wilderness on her bike.

Charity is a highly trained counsellor with over 15 years of experience working individually, with couples and groups. As a couple’s counsellor, I work from a non-judgemental and supportive space to help couples identify individual and shared needs. Once your problems are understood and goals are set, I draw on a variety of methods and research to help find the best tools for you. All work is collaborative and tailored to the unique needs of the relationship. I treat all relationships with respect and reverence.

Qualifications and registrations: Charity has a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Diploma in Professional Development. Charity is a registered counsellor and clinical supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association Charity has worked with clients who have experienced life from a diverse range of contexts, cultures, identities, and backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns.

Therapeutic Approach: When working with clients Charity’s number one goal is understanding. I meet all clients with an open and curious mind and strive to create an environment that is conducive to fostering safety and trust. I respect and value my clients’ lived experience, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. I believe it is essential to understand before change can take place.

Areas of specialisation: I work to understand how to best meet your unique needs and draw on a wide range of approaches such as parts therapy, somatic and emotion focused perspectives.  My work is informed by the latest research and developments in the field of neuroscience, and trauma, to help you deepen self-awareness, acceptance, and self-compassion.
